Join us for this FREE event with author Darren Bennett as he officially launches his new novel, THE LAST VOYAGE, a time-travel thriller that takes you back to the events that unfolded aboard the cruise ship TSS Fairsky.

About the cruise: Darren and his family boarded the TSS Fairsky in June 1977 for a holiday to Singapore, Jakarta and Bali. Leaving the port of Jakarta, the ship hit a submerged wreck. It sliced a significant hole on the port side. Water poured in, and the ship began to sink.

This book is loosely based on Darren's harrowing ordeal and what transpired in the minutes and hours following the collision.

About the Author: Darren Bennett is an emerging Australian author who has written several highly regarded fiction and nonfiction books. Before embarking on his writing career, Darren spent twenty-five years as a high school teacher and leader in Brisbane. During his teenage years, he lived in Darwin, but now he resides in Springfield with his wife.
