The AVISTA Program is an exciting and interactive STEM Career Showcase to Brisbane in Term 1, 2026. These events are free for secondary students and their teachers to attend.

The Showcase provides a unique opportunity for secondary students to connect to aerospace and defence industries in the region, allowing them to STEM careers and career pathways available in the region, to build a local future workforce. These half-day events will feature activities that explore jobs and technologies used in industry, with students able to move from exploring a concept straight to speaking with an industry professional about the pathways, skills and education needed for that specific career field.

Students and their teachers will have access to aviation and defence industry professionals, Aviation Australia's training facilities and more.

The day will be presented in two sessions. Please register your students for one session only.

Session 1: 10.00am-12.00pm

Session 2: 12.30pm-2.30pm

The AVISTA Program is an AROSE initiative, supported by the Department of Defence's School Pathways Program, dedicated to building Australia’s STEM talent pipeline by providing direct insights into defence industry career pathways.

The Brisbane STEM Career Showcase is presented in partnership with Aviation Australia, with support from the Space Industry Association of Australia.
