Step away from the noise of everyday life, join Simon and Kate and settle into the calm of The Retreat. Created as a nurturing space to unwind and realign, this experience invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your body, mind, and inner quiet.
yogafusion invites you to join us in a space of movement, reflection, and rest. Each day offers time to awaken your energy in the morning, build connection and strength in the afternoon, and unwind into stillness as evening settles in. Together, we’ll create space to breathe deeply, move with intention, and restore balance in both body and mind.
The Retreat weaves together practice and connection in a way that supports both body and mind.
We'll begin each day with an uplifting morning vinyasa practice to awaken your energy, followed by an afternoon flow to build strength. As evening falls, there will be a restorative yin practice to gently guide you into stillness.
Each day's practice consists of:
- Two thoughtfully designed vinyasa classes that balance strength and softness, movement and stillness.
- One restorative yin practice — a time to soften, unwind, and integrate
- Complementing these are guided workshops and deep dives into yoga’s history, philosophy and traditions—inviting us to explore beyond our physical practice, but why it matters. These sessions are an open forum to discuss and reflect, with the aim of enriching your practice both physically and mentally.
The entire time here is an opportunity for the pace to soften. There's no rushing to make it to your practice on time, no dramatic shift from daily life to finding your own space. The day is your practice.
Unhurried mornings and gentle afternoons create space to truly unwind — to let your practice, rest, and reflection all come together.
Each day, you’ll be nourished with three wholesome meals prepared by our professional caterer, designed to support vitality, digestion, and balance. In between, there’s time to wander, write, nap in the sun, or simply be — no rush, no expectations, just space to breathe and restore.
Every meal at The Retreat is lovingly crafted to support your wellbeing — nourishing, flavourful, and made from fresh, wholesome ingredients. Our professional caterer designs each menu to complement your practice, offering food that energises without heaviness and comforts without compromise.
Midway through the retreat, we’ll enjoy a group outing; a chance to step beyond the retreat space and explore the local area. We're planning on visiting the local Eumindu market, offering time to connect, reset and experience the surroundings without the structure of practice.
Between classes, workshops and meals, you’ll have space for connection or solitude as suits you.
Whether you want to relax in the onsite steam room, swim in the magnesium pool or find a space for yourself we create a supportive environment to provide what is needed for true rest and renewal.
This isn’t an escape — it’s a return.
